This XFCN returns the current volume level the Macintosh is set to (0-7)

Syntax:

GetVolume("©1988SDrazga")

Returns the volume the Macintosh is set to (from 0-7).

The only parameter that must be passed must is the copyright notice (the © symbol is option-g).
